Lily is a 14-year-old miniature pinscher mix who came to the shelter as a stray. She has a microchip, but despite our best efforts, we haven't been able to reach her previous owners. From the moment you meet her, Lily's gentle spirit shines through. She has the sweetest eyes and a calm, curious nature that makes everyone fall in love. She's friendly with strangers and is perfectly content to be petted or picked up in your lap. Lily isn't too interested in toys these days, but she's very food-motivated and always happy for a treat or a soft place to nap. She walks beautifully on leash and seems confident and curious around other dogs, so she may do well with a calm canine companion. Lily would love a quiet home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by love, cozy blankets, and gentle people (kids 8+). After a life full of stories only she knows, this sweet senior girl is ready for her happily-ever-after and a safe place to call home and someone to love her for the rest of her days.
