Meet Norman, a 2-year-old terrier mix who came to us as a stray, wearing a black collar but no tags or microchip, just a quiet hope that someone might be looking for him. While no one came, Norman is now ready to write a new chapter with a family who sees past his fears and into his gentle heart. Though eager for connection, Norman is still learning to trust the world again. He enjoys being pet, but he can get overwhelmed with too much affection or pressure. Norman is playful in bursts, enjoying balls, ropes, and squeaky toys when he's feeling brave. He's unsure around other dogs and would do best as the only pet or with a calm, respectful dog and an experienced home that understands body language and boundaries. Norman's ideal family is adult-only, calm, and patient, someone who can give him space to blossom at his own pace. With time, kindness, and consistency, Norman has so much love to give.
